Orlando Pirates rest SIX key players for Sundowns match!

Orlando Pirates return to CAF Champions League action this afternoon when they face Jwaneng Galaxy.

Jose Riveiro’s side travel to the National Stadium in Gaborone to face Galaxy in the first leg of their CAF Champions League second round preliminary qualifier.

Orlando Pirates got the better of Djabal FC in the previous round thanks to a 4-0 on aggregate victory. Jwaneng Galaxy on the other hand defeated Uganda’s Vipers FC 3-2 on aggregate.

With one eye on Wednesday’s blockbuster league match against Mamelodi Sundowns, Jose Riveiro has opted to rest some of his key players this afternoon!

Zakhele Lepasa, Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabang Monare, Monnapule Saleng and Patrick Maswanganyi have all been rested!
