The president of the Los Angeles Town Council apologized after she and two different council participants have been stuck the use of racist language whilst discussing a white colleague and his Black son, the Los Angeles Instances reviews.
Nury Martinez can be heard in leaked audio calling fellow council member Mike Bonin “that little whinge,” including that he handled his followed son like “an adjunct.”
Later, she refers back to the kid as “su negrito,” a disparaging time period for a Black individual, and “ese changuito,” or that little monkey.
