Messi and Ronaldo kept apart after UEFA Champions League re-draw!

Football fans across the world will have to wait a little longer to see the reunion of two superstars in Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

This is comes after the UEFA Champions League Last 16 draw was redone with both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United kept apart.

According to UEFA, the draw had to be redone after a ‘material error’ occurred during the initial draw, prompting teams such as Atletico Madrid to lodge complaints with the authorities.

Now, the new Champions League Last 16 draw is done and dusted, below are the eight fixtures as pitted on Monday.

RB Salzburg vs FC Bayern

Sporting CP vs Manchester City

Benfica vs Ajax

Chelsea vs Lille

Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United

The first legs are to be played on 15-16 February and 22-23 February with the return legs scheduled for 8-9 March and 15-16 March 2022.
