BREAKING: PSL announce new competition, one fan to bank R1 million!

At a press briefing on Monday, Khoza announced that PSL exco had agreed to the format of a new competition, which will see “two inland groups of four teams and two coastal groups of four teams each” compete against each other.


PSL releases details of new competition

“It will be called the DStv Compact Cup,” Khoza commented. “The chairmans of the various club’s will explain and expand it to their players and staff.”

All 16 teams in the DStv Premiership will compete in the mini-tournament, with Inland One to be made up of Kaizer Chiefs, Swallows, Orlando Pirates and TS Galaxy, while Inland Two will consist of Sundowns, SuperSport United, Marumo Gallants. and Sekhukhune United.

Coastal One will be: Golden Arrows, Royal AM, Maritzburg United, AmaZulu, and Coastal Two: Cape Town City, Stellenbosch FC,Chippa United and Baroka.

The winner will walk away with R1 million.
