Actor and radio personality Mohale Motaung slammed Vusi Thembekwayo’s response to assault allegations via a tweet today (12 December).

MOHALE MOTAUNG: ‘VERY NARCISSISTIC BEHAVIOUR’

Mohale Motaung took to Twitter to throw shade at Vusi Thembekwayo’s response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) allegations. The actor slammed the author for asking for privacy then claiming his wife suffers from substance abuse. He went on to call him narcissistic.

“You went from maintaining privacy to immediately telling us about a PRIVATE matter pertaining your wife ??!  Very narcissistic behaviour this! I BELIEVE HER!,” tweeted Mohale.

Mohale has become quite vocal on GBV and abuse. When actress Amanda du Pont claimed Jub Jub raped her, Mohale stood in solidarity with her. This is likely to be because Mohale feels like he understands. In August, Mohale accused his estranged husband Somizi Mhlongo of physically and psychologically abusing him.

VUSI THEMBEKWAYO ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING HIS WIFE

Mohale’s tweet follows Vusi’s response to the allegations made against him. Sunday World reports Vusi allegedly assaulted his wife Palesa Thembekwayo. The publication states that Vusi slapped his wife and dragged her by the feet during a heated argument in their home.

Vusi responded to the allegations via a statement on Twitter today (12 December).

“It has come to my attention that media tabloids have shared the news that myself and my family are currently going through a difficult period. To address the news first-hand I can confirm that I flew back to South Africa on 6 December 2021 — from an international trip to attend to a situation pertaining to my wife and her long standing battle with substance abuse,” wrote Vusi.

“As it stands I maintain my innocence and will prove this in the appropriate forum and trust the justice department to deal with it accordingly,” he continued.
