Springboks to host Wales in THREE Tests in 2022

The world champion Springboks are set to host Wales in three mid-year Tests in 2022.

According to Sunday’s Rapport newspaper, the Tests are scheduled to take place in Pretoria, Bloemfontein and Cape Town.

The exact dates of the matches have not been confirmed at the time of publishing, although they are expected to be held on 9, 16 and 23 July.

Springboks will also faces Wales in Wales in 2022

The Springboks are also due to play Wales in Cardiff on their end-of-year tour in 2022 – if a leaked itinerary is to be believed.

The Springboks and Wales have played 37 Tests to date, with South Africa leading the head-to-head battle 30-6 with one drawn Test.

Meanwhile, Johannesburg and Nelspruit have been ear-marked as venues for the two home Rugby Championship Tests against the All Blacks.
