Orlando Pirates latest | The THREE stars Bucs only expect in 2022

Orlando Pirates are expecting at least THREE of their players to only return in 2022 as they are still recovering from long-term injuries.

According to Pirates co-coach Fadlu Davids, striker Zakhele Lepasa, winger Vincent Pule and goalkeeper Richard Ofori will not feature this year.

Lepasa was expected to return to the pitch after having started training with the team alongside Thembinkosi Lorch.

However, Davids said the attacker is still in the final phase of his rehabilitation despite his return to the training grounds.

“No, we will not see Pule. Pule will only be back in the new year; it’s still part of his rehabilitation program,” Davids told reporters.

“Mosele is on the pitch and started training with the team this week. He finished his minimal standards in terms of rehab with his ankle,” he confirmed.

“Happy Jele is back and will start training with the team very soon but not Pule, not Lepasa probably this year, probably Ofori this year, not,” added Davids.
