Chocolate brownies – Decadent and indulgent

Craving a rich, luxurious chocolate treat? We have just the recipe for you: Chocolate brownies. This old favourite is simply delightful and hits the spot every time. This recipe includes dark chocolate, white chocolate and nuts for some extra indulgence and crunchy texture.

Chocolate brownies are easy to prepare. You can prepare them in 20 minutes, then pop them into the oven for 20 minutes but make sure you do not overbake them. Most importantly, place them in the fridge overnight to set them properly before you serve them.

It’s the season for festivity! What better excuse do we need to indulge in chocolate brownies? They are perfect after lunch or dinner. You can even enjoy a sweet bite as a guilty midnight snack! You may discover that you are not the only one visiting the kitchen at that late hour for a little chocolate treat.

450 g dark chocolate

200 g white chocolate

200 g mixed nuts

150 g cocoa powder

450 g butter

8 eggs

150 g cake flour

20 ml vanilla

600 g castor sugar


Preheat the oven to 180°C.Line a baking pan with a baking sheet and set it aside.Whisk the eggs, vanilla and sugar until thick.Melt the dark chocolate and butter together.Chop the white chocolate and nuts.Add the dark chocolate into the egg mixture.Sieve the flour and cocoa powder together and fold into the dark chocolate mixture. Let the mixture cool down a little.Fold in the white chocolate and nuts.Bake at 180°C for about 20minutes (don’t over bake),Let it cool down completely and set in the fridge overnight.
