Baroka FC winger Gerald Phiri Jr. is reportedly on his way to Sudan to join Al Hilal after an offer was tabled and accepted.
According to FarPost, Al Halil and Baroka reached an agreement for the sale of the left-footed winger.
However, it is unclear at this stage as to how much Al Hilal paid for the services of the 28-year-old attacker.
Furthermore, the publication reports that Phiri Jr. has already left Baroka and is expected to fly to Sudan and link up with his Al Hilal teammates.
“FARPost has been reliably informed that Baroka star midfielder Gerald Phiri Jr’s stay at the club has come to an end.
“This comes as the Malawi international is set to join Sudanese giants Al Hilal,” reports FarPost.
The Malawi international, who had been with Baroka since 2019, featured in 51 competitive matches since his arrival.
Phiri Jr. has four goals and three assists to his name at Baroka; the stats he would certainly want to improve when he joins Al Hilal.
