Gabuza, now 34, has scored three times in the early stages of the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season.

Prior to the season, AmaZulu were reportedly looking to sign the striker as they need more experienced firepower in attack for their league and CAF Champions League campaigns.

However, Gabuza elected to stay at SuperSport United and has proved to be a vital cog in coach Kaitano Tembo’s team who currently lie third in the standings with 15 points after eight matches.

With AmaZulu performing well in the CAF Champions League, the KwaZulu-Natal-based side are reportedly keen to try once again and acquire his services in the January transfer window with Golden Arrows also showing interest, according to a Soccer Laduma source.

“But AmaZulu are not the only club interested in Gabuza, as his former club Golden Arrows is also keen to bring him back to where it all started for him in professional football.”.
