Medical doctor and Miss Supranational second runner-up Thato Thelma Mosehle announced that she got engaged today (1 November).
THATO MOSEHLE: ‘I SAID YES!’
Thato Mosehle represented South Africa at the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland in August this year. She was crowned the second runner-up while Namibia’s Chanique Rabe brought the crown home to Africa.
“The most valuable thing you can hold onto is relationships. Through having similar goals, passions and dreams, women connect instantly in pageantry. Some of my closest friends I’ve met through pageants. I’m sooo happy I got to interact and connect with 57 women from different countries. I will never forget you,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
Thato announced her engagement today (1 November). Taking to Instagram, the medical doctor revealed that she said “yes” to the “one whom her soul loves”.
The engagement took place at Inanda Dam in KwaZulu-Natal. The beauty queen did not reveal who her fiance is. She also posted a photo which only shows the back view of him, hiding his face. Take a look…

CONGRATULATIONS POUR IN FOR THE COUPLE
Fellow beauty queens, celebrities and influencers took to the comments section of the post to congratulate Thato.
“Congrats beautiful ,” wrote Miss South Africa 2015, Liesl Laurie.
“Congratulations Thato ,” wrote reigning Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane.
“Congratulations ,” wrote Miss South Africa 2020.
INSIDE THATO’S DURBAN BAECATION
On 23 October, Thato began sharing snaps in the sunny city of Durban. She showed off an aerial photo from her helicopter ride.
“My first helicopter ride was so amazing,” she wrote on Instagram.
She then shared fiery snaps at the Oyster Box in Umhlanga.

Thato is not the only beauty queen who reached relationship milestones this year. Former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie (2015) got engaged to Dr and entertainer Musa Mthombeni. The pair had their traditional wedding and white wedding within a matter of months.
