Van der Merwe has elected to continue his career at the Lions in Johannesburg.

Stormers coach John Dobson confirmed that Specman is set to return to the Stormers for the resumption of their United Rugby Championship campaign which kicks off once again on 27 November.

“We are delighted that Rosko will join us again,” Dobson told Netwerk 24.

“We had a very good experience with him when he was loaned to us during the Rainbow Cup. He is one of South Africa’s best wings.

“He is extremely fast, competitive, tough and has the X factor.”

Meanwhile, the Stormers have also convinced veteran prop Brok Harris to stay until the end of the season.
