Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns transfer target Teboho Mokoena has set the record straight amid his looming exit from SuperSport United.
Mokoena rose to prominence at SuperSport United after being promoted to the first team in 2016. The midfielder known for scoring stunning goals, has already made over 150 appearances for the Tshwane based side.
Mokoena has been heavily linked with a move to both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns however he has since revealed where his preferred next destination is.

Mokoena finally spoke out for himself amidst a storm of links to both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi however according to the Bafana Bafana midfielder, Europe is his preferred next destination.
“If it happens, the first target is to go and play overseas,” Kaizer Chiefs transfer target Teboho Mokoena told Sowetan.
“Anywhere would be fine. As long as I’m happy and enjoying myself, I don’t mind. It will be a step forward for me. It’s something I’m thinking about going forward.
“I’m focusing on myself and the club now. We are in a good position with Bafana and that’s where the focus should be,”
SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews gave hope to both Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs after publicly admitting the club were willing to let go of their star midfielder.
Mokoena however has since confirmed that he’ll only look at local offers if he fails to attract European interest. According to Transfermarkt, Teboho Mokoena is worth a massive R21 Million.
Teboho Mokoena has a contract at SuperSport United until 2023 meaning Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns or any other team will have to dig deep into their pockets to land the star midfielder.
