South African journalist and former radio presenter Redi Thlabi is trending on Twitter after she shared her very controversial views on the Tembisa 10 debacle.
Taking to the social media app, Redi shared some tweets that basically discredited one of the doctors who were involved in the investigation of the decuplets saga a few months ago.
Redi Thlabi upsets the masses
Redi Thlabi has never held back when it comes to her opinions even if that means getting trashed by social media users who don’t always appreciate what she has to say.
This time, Redi has been accused of starting a “propaganda campaign” to “discredit” Dr Mpho Pooe, an obstetrician and gynaecologist who confirmed that Moliehi Maria Sithole, the mother of the famous Tembisa 10, was in fact pregnant with decuplets.
The accusations come after Redi retweeted a bad review that was left online about Dr Pooe by a woman who accused the doctor of putting people’s lives at risk.
She then became a big laughing stock after she mocked Jacaranda FM for saying that Sithole was “diagnosed” pregnant. Many people quickly came for her about not knowing that pregnancy was actually something that usually is diagnosed by a professional.
Many people quickly started accusing Redi of discrediting the Tembisa10 investigation while others wondered out loud whether or not she was trying to cover up a human tracking syndicate in South Africa.
Extreme accusations are made
“Could Redi Tlhabi be protecting the Human Trafficking syndicate in South Africa? Her focus is too invested in discrediting the #Tembisa10 and not investigating.”
“The people like Redi Thlabi and other mainstream journalists ridiculed @pietrampedi for reporting about the #Decuplets and disputed their existence what now? Could it be, the likes of Redi Thlabi know about these crimes committed on black women and are part of cover-ups?”
“That Redi journalist is so dismissive towards the #Tembisa10 story, someone needs to check her out if she’s not part of this human trafficking of the decuplets”
