Grizzly guest: Hungry big bear gatecrashes wedding party [watch]

A Mexican bride and groom’s special day became even more special after their wedding was crashed by a hungry bear. A clip that was shared by the bride’s cousin quickly went viral as social media users marvelled how well everyone at the wedding handled the cute but dangerous intruder.

Hungry bear gatecrashes a Mexican wedding!

Imagine having your wedding crashed by a dangerous and hungry animal? One Mexican couple and their guests need not imagine after they got to experience this bizarre event at their wedding.

25-year-old Angie Disa was one of the guests enjoying her cousin’s wedding which took place at Chipinque Ecological Park in Nuevo León, Mexico, when suddenly in walks a full-sized bear who quickly went to help himself to some food on a nearby table.

In a clip that has since gone viral after being shared by Angie, the huge bear can be seen knocking over a chair while trying to get his paws on a table.

Bizarrely, the guests in the background of the hair-raising clip continue to enjoy their meals as if nothing out of the ordinary was going on – something Angie says happened because the staff at the venue warned all the guests not to make any sudden movements that may alarm the bear.

What happened next?

According to Disa in a Business Insider article, staff members handled the situation quite calmly and in no time guided the bear away. She also added that no one was hurt in the process.

Meanwhile, the wedding certainly became a lot more memorable for the guests who had a better than expected wildlife experience at the Mexican wildlife park.
