The Kolisis on safari: Inside Rachel and Siya’s Zululand breakaway [watch]

Oct 27, 2021

Rachel Kolisi, wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi took to Instagram on 25 October to share a video of her family’s safari in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal.

In the video shared to Instagram, where Rachel has 311 000 followers, the Kolisi family is seen on a safari at andBeyond Phinda Private Game Reserve.

Rachel, Siya, their two children — Nicholas and Keziah — along with Siya’s younger sister Liphelo enjoyed a few days away in the wild. The trip came just a few days before Siya headed back on tour.

The couple adopted Siya’s younger siblings Liyema and Liphelo in 2014. The Springbok captain and his siblings share the same mother, who unfortunately passed away in 2009. This left Liyema and Liphelo bouncing from orphanages to foster homes before they were officially adopted. The couple care for the pair as their own.
