Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to hand Nigeria international Daniel Akpeyi a new two-year contract.

With plenty of keepers on their books this is a clear indication that the club still hope for more from the 36-year-old who has shown great form at times this season.

Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo has it clear that he wants to join one of the big three teams of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns next season.

Letsoalo has been in good form for Royal AM but feels that it is time for him to make the step up in his career.

It is believed that the striker has also attracted interest from abroad.

“Victor Letsoalo’s contract at Royal AM is due to expire in June next year,” a source told Kickoff.com.

“He has made his intentions clear that he wants to move to Gauteng next season.

“There have already been initial talks with one of the big teams in Gauteng.

“Those talks are set to continue in the coming weeks with a formal proposal.”
