Businesswoman and Imbewu: The Seed actress, Zandi Nhlapo was one of the most memorable media personalities to grace our TV screens in the 90s.
Nhlapo is known for her incredible presenting skills, her signature brush-cut hairdo, and timeless beauty.
HER HAIRDO, BEAUTY SECRET AND RETURN TO TV
The 46-year-old mother of three daughters, Ntando, Nyeleti, and Khomotso told News24 that a brush-cut simply makes everything easy.
She says she tried to grow her hair over the years but it that did not give her the simplicity she was looking for.
“It makes everything easy.”
“I tried growing my hair two years ago, and I’ve got thick, curly, unmanageable hair.”
“Short hair is much more manageable for me. It simplifies my life.”
She also adds that short hair never gets boring, and she has played around with several styles, from colour to line designs.
Nhlapo recently returned to our screens on e.tv’s soapie, Imbewu: The Seed, to play the role of Nompilo.
“To be quite honest, it felt like home and being welcomed by a long-lost love.” .
The TV personality confessed to the publication that her biggest beauty secret is washing her face last, with chilly water.
She also said that she has been using Camphor cream since she was 12-years-old.

She is the owner of Liquid Image Consulting, a marketing and communication company that offers services such as event management, customer relations, branding, graphic design, etc.
She runs the consulting company with her first daughter Ntando, and also owns a kiddie’s hair salon, Mini You Mini-Me.
