1. KELLY ROWLAND

Kelly Rowland took time away from Destiny’s Child in 2003 for a role in the American horror movie Freddy vs Jason. Rowland plays Kia Waterson, a confident teenager who is not afraid to speak her mind.

In the movie, she boldly challenges Freddy Krueger despite how much he scares everyone else off. Interestingly enough, even though she explained to Entertainment Weekly that she was terrified of horror moves she took the role because she wanted to see how she would react.

“I didn’t think I would actually get through my fear as fast as I did. But was I scared of meeting Robert [Englund, who plays Krueger in makeup? No…well, yes, I’m lying.”

2. STING

English musician Sting has been in several movie roles since 1979, but one of his most prominent roles was in the 1985 film The Bride. The Desert Rose singer played the role of Baron Charles Frankenstein and although he wasn’t as charming and loving as he is in song, he did look dashing!

3. DAVID BOWIE

English singer-songwriter David Bowie played the role of John Blaylock, Miriam Blaylock’s (Catherine Deneuve) vampire husband in the erotic horror film The Hunger

The film gets spicy when John and Miriam end up in a love triangle with Sarah Roberts (Susan Sarandon). David Bowie and Susan Sarandon dated after costarring in the 1983 film together but they broke up and Bowie later married supermodel Iman in 1992.

4. BUSTA RHYMES

American rapper Busta Rhymes played reality show director Freddie Harris in the 2002 horror Halloween: Resurrection, the 8th movie in the Halloween franchise.

In the film, Harris goes up against Michael Myers who does a whole lot of killing and stalking. Harris thinks he can take Myers and surprisingly… He matches up pretty well.

5. ICE-T

Rapper Ice-T featured in the 2000 horror Leprechaun in the Hood and plays the role of Mack Daddy. Three rappers who get in touch with Mack Daddy want to get even with him after he promised them fame.

To get even with him, they steal his jewellery and an ugly statue that turns into a Leprechaun who goes on a killing spree.
