Rappers Cassper Nyovest and Costa Titch have come a long way together. Before Costa Titch kicked off his explosive rap career he was a dancer for Cassper but the two have been beefing for a while now.

Cassper added fuel to the fire by shading Costa Titch for performing an amapiano song. Costa clapped back at Cassper saying he should stop milking the topic.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Although he has dabbled in amapiano himself, Costa Titch sent a message on his Instagram stories to local hip-hop artists saying that if they’ve switched over to amapiano, they should stay there. “Let us fix what you broke,” wrote Costa.

Cassper responded boldly to Costa’s message saying “apparently” hip-hop doesn’t need him.

“They coming together and things are looking bright!!! Costa Ebile are yena he is fixing what I destroyed.”

‘JUST SHUT UP AND MAKE MUSIC’

When Cassper said he couldn’t wait to see Costa in person, he meant it. While in Cape Town, the Baby Girl rapper bumped into Costa Titch who was trying out a new amapiano song for a lively crowd.

Cassper took a short video and posted it to Twitter writing: “This broer said he is saving SA hip-hop mos. I find him performing a new piano song in Cape Town here. Hahaha, le tla bolaiwa ke tlala Boyz!!! Just shut up and make music!!! Skatlo phapa!!! (don’t be forward) Hahaha ke shule.”

“We are South African!!! All we should be doing is supporting and pushing it forward,” wrote Cassper.

Hahaha Piano e nale masepa!!! You can’t fight it!!! You actually shouldn’t have to fight it cause Piano is ours!!!! We are South African!!! All we should be doing, is supporting and pushing it forward!!!

COSTA TITCH CALLS CASSPER OUT FOR ‘MILKING’ THE TOPIC

In a lengthy response to Cassper, Costa Titch said he has left him to “run with his narrative” for long enough. “I have no problem with you however, I don’t appreciate how you have made this situation bigger than what it actually is,” wrote the Thembi rapper.

“I have never said I am going to save SA hip-hop. All I said is that SA hip-hop is uniting. If you jumped ship then stay there and let us fix what you broke. What I meant by that, is that you keep pushing this narrative of being on either side.”

“Also please, let’s not forget SA hip-hop built your success in the first place. You can do any genre and still push SA music as a whole forward as you have major influence.”

Ending off the response, Costa Titch wrote: “Please stop trying to milk this topic, I have respect for you however I did not agree with the one statement you made and you making this awkward now.”

Responding to Costa Titch, Cassper wrote: “You were talking like a big boy. It was unnecessary and you felt like you were on fire, now you can’’ take the heat.”

Ong tlwaila blind Costa. You were talking like a big boy. It was unnecessary and you felt like you were on fire, now you can’t take the heat. Ska phase for no reason cause o ntwana.
