Cape Town City and Golden Arrows combine to equal PSL record

Cape Town City FC and Golden Arrows combined to equal a two-year old record in their DStv Premiership clash at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

However, Abafana Bes’thende put up a terrific fight in the second half and netted three times – through Pule Mmodi, Nkosinathi Sibisi and Nqobeko Dlamini – almost completing an incredible comeback.

The last time as many different players scored was in September 2019 when Bidvest Wits beat Orlando Pirates 4-3.
