Against All Odds: Big Game Beats Health Disorder to Keep Top of Cameroon’ Rap Game

Nsongmy Tchoufak William professionally known as Big Game is a Cameroonian afro hip hop star who has against all odds including a medical condition of nervousness disorder has been able to rise and keep at the top of the Rap game in his country and aims at being African best hip hop artist.

The rapper who is undoubtedly the best in Cameroon and most likely one of the best lyricists on the African continent has set goals for himself to be recognized amongst the next batch of African artists that will soon touch a global audience with African sound despite the health challenge .

Big game says that despite having dealt with a medical condition caused by nervousness disorder for over a decade, He is not cowed but only focused on being the best version of the artist his fans and supporters want him to be regardless of his health situation .

‘’I don’t feel any setbacks and that can be evidenced through my music and lifestyle because I am out to inspire and touch people with my strength’’. He recently said in a media interview adding that flaws and vulnerabilities are only human but most importantly are his achievements as an artist.

Big game who is a born of Bamenda in the western Cameroon started rapping and writing songs at the age of 14 while he was still in a missionary boarding school.

He recorded his first demo tape in 2009 and from then he just kept making music until he founded a band called ACES with fellow rapper colleague Jay Krimmz and together they used to do freestyle around the dormitories and made debut performances at school events which made both popular in secondary school.

The Black Market Records’ rapper moved to Douala the Capital of Cameroon in 2005 and kicked off his music career as an independent artist and from then he has been dropping singles and videos back to back up to recently in 2018 when he released his debut EP dubbed ‘’Original Mutumbu’’ which has since done well across Africa.
